I will tell these occurrences the best I can, ......in my life time I have had four incidents.
1. I know this happened in the early 70's cause I had first job working for a tree co. That sprayed power lines that ran through the mountains, we had four wheel drive tanker trucks that we stored our chemicals in and did not bring them off the mountain each night, Now keep in mind I never saw anything, it was foggy this morning, we parked our trucks in the tree line so people wouldn't see them and destroy them, it was late fall, lots of morning mist, and fog, no breeze, and at the time I didn't think of it but now I do, there was no sound, we hadn't started our trucks yet, and then from across the power line we heard a sound we had never heard before, there was five of us, and all from the mountains, ......I have heard bobcats, coyotes, and all animals in my area of the state, in those days I hunted, but as I have gotten older, I no longer want to hurt anything, this sound went on for what seemed to be forever, no animal that I know of could have lasted that long without passing out from lack of oxygen, I never had heard of Bigfoot then, but what ever it was scared all of us, I know this story is nothing like some of the stories you get, but nonetheless what could that have been.
2. i am not sure of the time frame, if this should be 2 or 3, but it happened, still I have never heard of Bigfoot,..........still in the 70s, I had an old military jeep, 1948, it was small, but could go anywhere, .....myself two friends, and our dates at the time, not steadies, just friends, ......we were going to stay in the mountains at a place called White Rocks,
We had food, beer, and other things to take up there.....no roads, just old logging roads, hard even for my little keep to get through, it is give or take three miles up there from the last dirt road, it took me three trips to get all of us and our gear up there, I found a way around the rocks so we would be above them, there was a large laurel patch between us and the rocks, I found an outcrop that was just made for a campsite....got up there early afternoon, set up camp, got a fire started to cook on......I know too much detail, so here goes around 1am, we heard what I can only say sounded like a drummer hitting his sticks together, but it was like 20 or 30 drummers doing this, it was right below us, no way humans could have gotten through that laurel patch, I and the other men had pistols, it iota they would never shoot at what we could not see....needles to say we got out of there, ....all in one trip........what could that have been....again I know this story is not exciting as others, but what was that.
3. Two years later, working for same tree co. .....we had gotten so far out in the mountains we desired just to stay overnight instead of going back out, Bathed in a creek....set up our tents, started fire, cooked chicken over fire, Sometime after midnight, I heard noise outside my tent...rattling pans, I hollered hey Chuck is that you, nothing, again, and gain I ask, nothing, then from the light from the Coleman lantern a shodow came across my tent,....it was big, hairy, and on two legs, I just went silent, nothing from the shadow reminded me of a bear, the arms or front legs what ever you want to call them way two long......the next morning when we got up one of the other men said when I hollowered for Chuck he raised up to see what was going on.....his tent was six feet at the center.....storm flap open with screen, he said what ever it was, was looking down through the screen at him.......he said big foot, he said he is in no doubt.....I only see him now every few years, but when I do he always ask me if I have told whoever I'm with about Bigfoot.....
4. This happens to me on a hunting trip in 1988 in Alberta Canada, in the Rockies, on a river called Panther River, was there for ten days, No hunting on Sunday so I started a walk along the river, to me it was an odd river, it had wide beach like running along it so you could walk easy, I had walked about an hour, enjoying the great views, then I got this feeling for no reason, just got it, it felt like I was in danger, I then told myself buddy you're not in Pa. anymore....I turned to go back to camp and got this smell I could not explain, dead fish, rotten meat, wet fur, I don't know for sure, as I walked the smell went away, and so did the feeling........
