I was travelling by car from Toronto to Peterborough to see my mother.It was late spring and very sunny. I was w/bound on hywy #7A approaching the hamlet of Yelverton.As I approached the crest of a hill and started my decent, I looked to my right (north side of the road). There was a low field of scrub brush and about 300-400 years away were a group of poplars and cedars behind them. They were very green in colour.As I looked I saw an 8-10 foot,fox red human-like creature standing at the end of the trees.It was looking right at me!! I had to look away and focus on the road which is steep decline with other vehicles approaching. When I got my car centered, I looked back at the spot where I had seen the creature, but it was gone.I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me! As an X cop I am a stickler for details, and have always loved the outdoors. Only after I had seen bigfoot on youtube did I realize what I had seen.I can only tell you that it was massive, fox red in colour,no neck, and a male.
