O'Brien Oregon 1974

​​Visiting from s. Cal. Snow on ground but break in the, weather. Warm enuf turn the dirt road to mud during the day freeze at night. Our Chevy van got stuck driving to a friends way out towards the west. No other houses past His till u hit the coast. We leave the van go on foot. About 1/2 mike further. Visted had dinner then headed back to the van to sleep. Three of us, my gf, James (his van and his friends). We have a, single shot 22 and my dog a 95 lb mutt. Full moon we r walking down the road, all the sudden it got dead quiet, and my dog who wasn't afraid of anything I ever saw got between our legs, and started whinning, there was on the right side pines about 3-4" and so thick you couldn't get thru. About 10 yards from the road we could hear something keeping pace with us. It moved with us, stopped and starting when we did, we started moving faster it seemed to get excited so we walked normal as we could, it followed us into the van. We never saw it. But it was outside the van fora couple hours. It was a panel van no windows except the doors. The windows fogged up pretty quick the three of us and the dog. I never heard of any Bigfoot stuff before. We just thought it was a bear. Lots of them around there. It started rocking the van pushing on the side. It was trippy. When we got stuck the right side if the van was next to a pretty deep drop off, it couldn't come around that side. But it went all around the front and back. Freaked us out for sure. It went away at some point, so we went to sleep. The next morning kind of forgot about it at first, cause trying to get the van unstuck, which we did and my friend looks at the side if his van and his almost new panit job and there were scratches down the side. Oh he was pissed. Yelling about driving thru the brush. We hadn't driven thru anything. His van was raised in the back the style back then. The scratches weren't made by pulling down. They were made by pushing down. It had to have been 7-8 ft tall to reach that high and wide. When we told Doni later that day after we got back from town he got really pale, and his wife said I told u to him. We were able to get all the way up to the house the second day, but after they started telling us some of the stuff they had seen and heard, wow. They Said it was getting braver, we left the next morning back to Cali.never went back there, altho 10 years later I moved near cave junction but never heard of anything again. Never said anything, cause people think u been hitting the 🍄, or something. It was spooky as hell.
