Nippissing Ontario 1979

It was a still summer night, my mother, and i were returning from town, we lived in a rural area at the time, beautiful scenery, forests, lakes, it was night upon returning home, only a few street lights lit the way, driving down the road, the headlights picked up something to our right, she stopped the car, we were looking at two large yellow eyes in pitch black darkness, the eyes looking straight ahead, we couldnt make out anything else like body shape, facial features, just the eyes, my mother said, "what is it"?’ i didnt respond , fixated on the eyes, suddenly the figure turned, and bolted through the bush, all we could hear was the snapping of branches, and thrashing of leaves, it ws running very fast, my mother drove away, this encounter lasted approximately 10 seconds, i dont know of any large animals with yellow eyes standing neear the side of the road in the black of night, many years later, i thought about what we saw that night was Sasquatch, it had the intelligence to stay frozen, and not run in front of the car to be identified, this isnt the first time i have heard about possible sightings in this area.
