Mount Hood National Forest, Oregon 1999

I was driving a tractor trailer for a well know company, at the time I was making a delivery near Mount Hood National Forest, Bull Run watershed. I was a couple hours early for my appointment so I decided to pull off the road and relieve myself and to look at the stars. I'm from Baltimore Maryland so I never get to see the sky at night like that, so I pulled off the road bordering the forest, killed the engine and hopped out and walked around to the passenger side of the of the trailer.
While relieving myself, I heard a loud scream like a person in a horror movie. Well it gave me the willies, so I zipped up and started for the truck cab, when I heard another scream except it was closer, I ran the length of the trailer and jumped up in the cab! Switched on the head lights and I estimated, maybe 30 yards, I seen a big buck deer with big antlers right in the edge of the wood line.

It looked funny, like it was standing on something with it's head at a crazy angle. Than it moved and what I seen was the most biggest thing I've ever seen in all my years driving. I was 39 years old at the time. This thing was huge, it walked out of the tree line with this big buck over it's right shoulder, the deer's head facing the rear and bouncing up and down, as it walked across a two lane road it turned it's head when I turned on the high beams and looked right at me!

It must of been at least 8 foot tall seeing that I was sitting in the cab of my truck and it was eye level. Then out of the woods where it came from, I seen something hop out like a rabbit but not hopping like one, kinda like when you played leap frog as a kid, was a small one. The large one paused on the shoulder while the little one hopped in the woods and than continued on in the woods it self.

All this happened in 30 seconds. The large one had reddish brown hair, it's face when it turned to look was like a ape from the original planet of the apes kinda, shiny facial features like those gorillas in the movie. The little one was darker in color and very fast as it hopped and ran across the road.



The large one stopped at the wood line and dropped the deer and grabbed it by the horns and dragged it into the forest. The hair on the large ones head look long in the back when it paused to wait for the little one. Also the hair looked like the dread locks some men have all matted up. I never got out of the truck and made my delivery.
I've never told anyone except my son who was only 7 years old than, I told him just last year. I'd never thought anyone would believe me, he did. I made deliveries to the same company 3 more times over the coming years but never seen anything like that ever again. Hope I never do.

It did look a little spooked itself, as it turned it's head to look at me, with a surprise look in its eyes. It Definitely knew I was there watching them and I believe was just as scared as me.
