​Louisiana 1982

I was 15 at the time . I went to make an evening duck hunt like always . I had a little over a mile long walk through the woods on a ridge before I got to the swamp area the walk was normal and peaceful as usual. I managed to bag one wood duck on the way out it’s usually getting dark or is dark . Once I got to the ridge I had a feeling of being watched then as I was walking I heard a limb snap as I walked it walked when i stoped it stoped. Now scared I Icalled out and warned that I have a gun and this isn’t funny no response . I kept walking same thing was happening being scared I fired a shot in that direction then started running about 15 to 20 yards and turning around and firing again as what ever it was it was still following me I kept doing this till I got to the end of the ridge and out of the woods . I have never been back in this area for years now. And doubt I’ll ever go back. This happened 36 years ago.
