June/July 2017 Lewis County, Washington State

I was visiting my son at his home in the summer 0f 2017. About an hour or so before sunset we walked back to a waterfall about a quarter mile behind the house he was renting. The house was a log home the last one up the mountain. We were about half way to the waterfall, when I heard a loud branch break behind us. I stopped then my son stopped as he was in the lead. He asked if that was me. I replied no something is trailing us. We arrived at the waterfall then started hearing growls from the woods north of us by about 30 yards. We both started looking out the way we came it was the only way out. I was next to a tree with a twin trunk. I as looked through the trunks I seen a set of large black hairy legs go by. At this time we started back but stopped and I told my son listen. There was no sounds at all the birds were silent. We could hear them as we first walked in. Then the low guttural growls started again. We had to go around a pile of old cuttings that were there when some logging was done. he growls were coming from the pile area. When we arrived at my sons house he brought out his thermal image scope. We could see a large red indication of something in the woods we just left. It was next to the trees by the path we had taken. 
About 3 week later I was back helping my son and his family move. They found a pace closer to there work. As we were moving furniture and such out . I seen standing about 60 feet away in the shadows of the trees a large figure about 9 feet tall watching us. I told my son we are being watched . He also seen this figure. It was there at least 20 minutes. The next day we went back to finish up. I went over to the area where the figure was day before the branches of the trees and the blackberry bushes forms a curve like an arch you see in a house. This was now open as the day before it was blocked by the size of this thing g from the top of the blackberries bushes to the arc of the branches about 6 feet high. the bushes were 3-4 feet high. I am not one to make up stories but tell what I see. Thank you
