Hi Lynn,
I saw one of your videos on YouTube and I wanted to tell you of the encounter my husband and I had on Highway 27, just south of Georgetown, MS, on June 12, 2018. It was about 645am or so (it was getting light), we were driving north on Highway 27, about 5 or 6 miles south of Georgetown. It is a heavily wooded area, with a two-lane road (HWY 27) going through it. This creature, probably 8 or 9 feet tall (maybe taller), leaps out onto the road from the woods. We were about 150 feet or so away at the time. It was covered in dark brown fur. Steven, my husband, slams on the brakes of the car. As we come screeching to a halt, probably 60 or 70 feet from the thing, it just stands there, upright, but hunched over a bit, looking at us. Then it crosses the road and shoulder with 2 or 3 strides, and disappears in the woods. We accelerate as fast as possible and leave as quick as we can.
I have never felt as terrified as I did when I saw that thing. We have absolutely no-doubt that it was a bigfoot. There was really nothing else it could be. as it was most certainly not a bear (which is not native to this area), nor a man (way too large). The only large wildlife we have here are deer, and they tend to be rather smallish.
I hope I could be of some assistance in your research.
