I lived in Duncan on Vancouver island just up in Glenora. I had about 3 acres of wooded land, I lived in a single wide trailer set well back from the hwy,it had a beautiful hollow field in the back filled with mosses and beautiful furns,just an open patch.I was given a wooden flute to play and loved sitting back there as nobody could hear me learning to play but I ALWAYS felt something wasn't right.The forest was completely dead every day, not one sound ever.as I looked around more I found deer carcasses and heads everywhere really! one night I heard a grunt and my trailer shook like something banged up against it. I was out playing my flute one sunny day and not far off at all there where 3 good cracks of fresh wood knocks coming from just out of sight.it made my hair stand on end at the back of my head.Theres nothing back there but the Cowichan river approx. 1/2 mile away....I never went back to play again and moved shortly after,a girl said she had a huge boulder thrown at her from the other side of the river as they were fishing...they packed up and left...There here alright !
