Ball Ground Georgia, Etowah River

​I've grown up hearing stories of The Bottom Creature. I live in Ball Ground Ga the scene of the experiences is Flat Bottom near the Etowah River. Ever since I can remeber my Grandpa would tell me of something that would scream like nothing he has ever heard late in the night near the river. As soon as you could sense of where it was coming from, there would be another scream about a 1,000 ft. up the river.  As my mom and uncles grew up they would hear it as well even trying to camp out near the river as to try and see what it was, of course they would get too scared and not stay more than 3 hours. I myself have not experienced the screaming but i have come across strange tree stumps on the side of the road and a smell that would gag a skunk. The next days after seeing the trunks they would not be there. My belief is that it was sasquatch camouflaging itself when cars drove down the road.
