Arkansas March 8 1976

Just wanted to say I think these creatures for the most part get a bad rap. I'll be 62 this March 8th, but on my 17th birthday visiting my aunts who's property was located on the edge of the Ouachita National Forest, 1.8 million acres I took a hike that would not only change my life forever but put me in a life and death struggle.
The reason I'm here today is because one of the creatures saved my life.
Of course being a avid outdoorsmen, trapping, hunting, fishing, camping would change from that day on, being diagnosed with ptsd and being medicated for it the next 30 years, I asked myself over an over if I'd been better off not surviving.
Today I realize everything happened for a reason and the reason it happened to me is,i believe is God's will.
Always being accident prone, even before that day id experienced much more than most young people my age.
Deadly car accidents, broken bones, being stapled shut a few times, once because of a knife attack.
Nothing, I mean NOTHING could prepare me for that day.
And let me be clear 99.9%of people won't have to experience fear, out right horror like I did that day.
Not knowing if it would be doing what it did to collect me or help me.
I've always been the one who stays calm under extreme stress, makes the right decisions.
But knowing when my accident happened and knowing I'd have little chance of survival and go from that to having an 8 foot 600lb creature find me lean over and look into my eyes, well that's the definition of losing your bodily functions.
The last couple years as more people have spoken up, told there stories I felt I could do the same.
One told my story although it wasn't complete and then I'm not sure if he even believed me.
Then i sent my story to Dixie Cryptid and Cam had a gentleman rewrite it and tell it, although still incomplete. Sometimes
Makes me wish I'd never told it.
My point was these creatures have a soul, they can be very gentle, and a sadness in there eyes.
But more importantly they'll go out of there way to help people and in my case save my life. My incomplete story is on the Dixie Cryptid, marathon 109, A tree was crushing him until Bigfoot saved his life.
Please, whenever you can let people know there extremely intelligent, have a heart and want to be left alone.
