2014 Oklahoma

My son and I enjoyed going to the Great Salt Plains Wildlife area and taking pictures of the birds and other wildlife. It was deathly still that day. Since I am getting old, I just couldn't make it the whole way around the trail, so I told my son that I was going back to the car and wait. This particular day there were no other people around. This was not all that unusual as that often happened. After I left, he began to hear a language that he could not understand and wanted to make sure that I was ok so he hurried back to the car. I was quite surprised to see him that quickly but upon questioning him, I told him that I thought a couple of bigfoot were probably talking to each other and saying that they would never leave their elderly to walk in the woods all alone. He kind of laughed but told me how it really freaked him out. (I had heard nothing) There were no other people in the whole place because we drove around and on the auto trail and saw no one. As we talked, I told him that I had heard that strange language before when I was in my twenties and camping in Michigan with my mother-in-law and her young daughters and then later in North Carolina. We all heard it and my mother-in-law tried to make us feel better by saying it was probably just the wind in the trees. I have been in the woods on many windy days and I knew that was no wind through the trees sound. We had never heard of bigfoot in those far off days.
